Making Resin Art
with Kim McDonald
This class is designed for beginners, but all are welcome. In this class I will teach you the A to Z of making a resin art piece. We will cover safety, prep work, substrates, mixing and preparing the resin, color pigment additives, and work hands-on together to create your very own piece of resin art. All equipment and supplies will be provided for you, including a 12" x 12" prepped wood cradle, and basic safety equipment (gloves and disposable dust mask). You are welcome to bring your own mask if you have something that you are more comfortable with.
Wear clothing (including shoes) that you wouldn't mind getting resin on. There is always a chance. Also, make sure to tie back long hair.
You will be able to retrieve your finished piece of art 1 to 2 days after date of class, for curing time.
Age limit: 18+
Class size: Max: 6 Min: 2
Cost for this class is: $120
Supplies for this class must be purchased in advance so payment is required, in advance to secure your spot.
***Disclaimer***
Working with resin is not for everyone. Some people can have serious reactions to resin. For this class we use ArtResin.
